MEET DR. CUESTA —THE DEER VET!

On a snowy day in 2009, a badly injured deer wandered into Pet Smart. Intervening just before the police were to shoot the animal, a vet saved the deer's life. He stitched up her wounds, treated her with medicine and then released her back to the wild.

Millions of people around the world were amazed to hear of the compassionate "Deer Vet" when the story went across the Associated Press newswire and appeared on Good Morning America. Video footage found its way to thousands of blogs and web sites.

"The Deer Vet" is our own Dr. Cuesta! Dr. Cuesta's compassion for all creatures comes as no surpise to his clients. Dr. Cuesta and his staff at Airport Animal Hospital are committed to:
